The Hoshiyan Chronicles combines action, thriller, fantasy, mystery and morals. The series has no profanity and explicit sex. Most books are excellent for ages 14 and above except for book 23. It deals with difficult questions concerning death and a confession of abuse that requires more maturity.

When I open a book, I usually read only a few pages at a time, and it could easily be a day or two before I continue. This was not the case with Seeking the Light of Justice by Barry Nadel. This gripping page-turner had me hooked from the very beginning.
It is the story of a team of Israeli archaeologists, Yoshua Rosenberg in particular, who on finding the cover page of the legendary Hoshiyan Chronicles, set out to find the answers to the mystery of the Light of Justice.
Their search takes them to Spain and they become caught up in a conspiracy by the Vatican to hide the truth as it could be damaging to the catholic church, and by Spain to wish their history of the atrocities committed during the Spanish inquisition to remain hidden.
The team are hindered in their work by the bureaucracy of the Spanish government and their lives are in danger from the Vatican. Everything is done to discredit the team and eventually they are arrested on trumped up terror charges and thrown in prison.
This is such an exciting story. The tension ramps up with every discovery the team make and every page has the reader worried about their safety. It is very Indiana Jones in character. I loved it and I will be keeping an eye out for the sequel.
My only complaint is that the book could use a good proofreading service as there are many errors throughout—mainly punctuation and incorrect words. If these could be fixed, this would be a best seller. And it would make a terrific movie.

Three Pebbles

Unique concept for a book. Nice to see something new. I warms my heart to see someone who cares about morality in these difficult times. Standing up for Faith, Righteousness and Justice should be the cornerstones of any society that wants to exits for hundreds of years. I like the use of the internal conflicts that the professor’s wife is faced with, never able to speak freely around her husband in fear that she will ruin the prophecy.
